Registration & Publishing News/Calendar Items

Tutorials/Demos

Registering an Account, Submitting News & Calendar Items

To make it easier to understand the basics of registrating and creating news/calendar items, we have created the following live action tutorials. You will need the Flash  browser plugin to view these tutorials.

Tip: For those with low resolution screens set your browser to full screen view. Also note the controls at the bottom of the player window. You can rewind or fast forward through the tutorial using these controls.

Using the News Item Text Editor

EpiscopalBayArea.org uses an advanced, yet simple to use web-based text editor for creating news submissions. If you have used other WYSIWYG text editors like Microsoft Word you should feel right at home.

If you would like to try out the text editor in a safe environment before posting a news item visit the WYSIWYGPro demo site.

Safari Users Please Note: Apple's Safari browser currently does not support our WYSIWYG editor for news items. If you will be submitting news items and are using a Mac it is recommended that you use a browser other than Safari. Firefox is a free, easy to use browser that will work well.

Please note this limitation for Safari only pertains to the news item editor. Safari works fine otherwise.
