The Very Rev. Dr. Lawrence Scott Hunter is the new rector of St.
Stephen's, Orinda. Formerly of St. John's Mission in La Verne, CA, Dr.
Hunter began at St. Stephen's in September.
Effective July 1 2004, The Rev. Nancy G. Eswein has been appointed
Assistant Professor and Director of Field Education at the Church
Divinity School of the Pacific. Nancy had served as Executive Director
of Sojourn Chaplaincy at San Francisco General Hospital since 1999.
The Rev. Eric Nefstead has been appointed Executive Director of Sojourn
Chaplaincy at San Francisco General Hospital. An October 6th
Celebration of New Ministry is scheduled at the Hospital, the Rt. Rev.
William Swing, presiding.
